Thy Kingdom Come

The Message of the Kingdom of God

The Following excerpts from ladd's gospel of the Kingdom will give us a clearer graps of the powerful message we have to proclaim to the nations.

Victory Over Death

The Gospel of the  Kingdom is the announcement of Christ conquest over death. There are two stages in the destruction of death. Its final destruction awaits the second Coming of Christ; but by His death and resurrection Christ has defeated enemy. We are certain of the future victory because of the victory that has already been accomplished. We have an accomplished victory to proclaim.

Victory Over Satan

The enemy of God's Kingdom is Satan. Christ must rule until He has put Satan under His feet. This complete Victory also awaits the Coming of Christ. But we have Discovered that Christ has already defeated Satan. Christ took on flesh and blood that through death He might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of Death were subject to bondage   " Since the Children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him  who holds the power of death- that is, the devil 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death"  (Heb. 2:14-15 KJV)

Satan is defeated enemy. His power, his domination has been broken. His doom is sure. The decisive victory has been won. Christ cast out demons, delivering men from satanic bondage, proving that God's Kingdom delivers men from their enslavement to Satan. It brings them out of darkness into the saving and healing light of the gospel. This is the good news about the Kingdom of God.

Victory Over Sin

sin is also an enemy of God's Kingdom. Christ reign as King has the objective of abolishing every enemy (1Cor 15:24-26). This work is indeed future, but it is also past. What our Lord will finish at His second, He has already begun by  His death and resurrection. "Death" has been abolished (destroyed) (2Ti 1:10) Satan has been destroyed (Heb 2:14) and in Romans  6:6 the  body of sin has been abolished (destroyed).

The gospel  of the Kingdom is the good news that Christ is coming again to destroy forever His enemies, sin, death and satan. This is the gospel that we must take into all world

MINISTERING BY THE ANOINTING

The anointing is the tangible presence of God.  It is the impartation of His ability upon an available, yielded vessel to carry out His will and work.  Learning to flow with what God is doing is the key to setting others free.

All that Jesus did in His earthly ministry was by the anointing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 4:18)
In miracle evangelism all impressions must receive the confirmation of our inner witness.  As we step out and operate in the vocal and power gifts, we will see miracles take place and people respond to the gospel.

I.          The Anointing
The world cannot be evangelized without the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. We need the same anointing which was on Jesus. Jesus was speaking to all believers who are to do His works.  He qualifies all believers to receive the same anointing. John 14:12
A.        The anointing of the Holy Spirit as promised in the Old Testament.  Joel 2:28, 29
            B.         The filling of the Holy Spirit as promised in the New Testament. Luke 24:49
            C.         The Promise Received
On the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came, just as Jesus had promised. Acts 2:1-4

            D.        Anointing Within
The believer's anointing comes from within. I John 2:27

Every believer has an anointing within them which comes with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. God also gives a special anointing to believers when He selects them for specific ministries.

II.         Reason For Anointing
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is necessary if we are to do the works Jesus did. Mark 16:17, 18

            A.        Bearing Fruit
It is through the anointing of the Holy Spirit that believers can bear good fruit. John 15:7, 8, 16

            B.         Learn to Minister
When we learn to flow with the Holy Spirit there will be:
>          Awareness, Sensitivity, Availability, Thoughts of possibilities, Obedience
We will:
>          Understand, Cooperate with, Work under leading of Spirit

We must learn to be led by the Spirit. Leaning to flow with what God is doing is the key to effective ministry and a sign of our maturity from children to sons! Romans 8:14

III.       Ministering By The Anointing
Believers should boldly use the anointing God has placed on them to do the works Jesus did.
            A.        Jesus and the Samaritan Woman
This is a wonderful example of Jesus operating in the revelation gifts of the Holy Spirit when He ministered to the woman at the well. John 4:16-18, 20, 30, 39 Operation of Holy Spirit gifts, His obedience to the Father, and the Word brought immediate salvation for the women and eventually a revival to Samaria.

            B.         Peter/John Healing Lame Man
Peter and John ministered by the anointing of God whey they ministered healing to the lame man at the temple gate. Acts 3:1-9

In miracle evangelism, we need to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  We need to let God reveal the root problem by revelation knowledge. We need to boldly speak and release the power of God, the anointing, which dwells in us. The anointing and power to do the works of Jesus is for all believers.

            C.         Philip at Samaria
Philip is a good example of a believer operating under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Later in the book of Acts, we see Philip functioning in the five-fold ministry gifting of an evangelist. However, when he obeyed the words of Jesus to be His witness in Samaria, he was functioning as an ordinary believer, a deacon in the local church in Jerusalem. Acts 8:4-8, 12, 13

All believers have the anointing within them to win the lost.  Believers who have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and who are obedient to obey Jesus and be bold a witness, will experience a greater anointing of the Holy Spirit for powerful miracle evangelism. They, like Philip, will minister boldly in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They, like Philip, will experience the same anointing which was upon Jesus when he said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach..."

            D.        Reaching Our Cities
The church which seeks to reach its city needs to equip every believer to minister by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 10:27 As believers learn how to receive, flow with and minister in the anointing of God, they will become powerful, miracle working soul winners for Jesus Christ!

Go in Mission and Make Disciples

We Bless the World!!!!

JESUS spent the most of his 3 years of ministry instructing those men he gathered as followers until they matured as disciples. After 3 years he turned the future of the church and his plans for global evangelism over to them!!!

He mandated to go before ascended to heaven they emphasize the word “Go to the World. That must all Christian must obey to the command and fulfill it. Whereas that our journey is to bless the world like Abraham call the Lord in give the promise that “We Bless the World, now it our time to show our experience to our father impart it to everyone who need it.

If we are serious about the apostolic mandate, then we must know what a disciple is. Many people and church traditions have different definitions of discipleship. Therefore it is important that we look at what the bible says discipleship is and is not.

I.          Misunderstanding Discipleship
             A.        Discipleship is not primarily a mentoring program to help Christians become better members.
Certainly Discipleship will cause church members to become more committed, but a better member is not what Jesus had in mind when He gave us this Command.
            1.         Discipleship starts with the lost, not with the found.
When Jesus told His followers to go and make disciples He did not expect them to go and help His followers become better followers. He expected them to go to those who were not yet following Him and teach them to be disciples.

                        2.         Discipleship ends with multiplication, not personal perfection.
If greater commitment, maturity, and personal holiness are all we accomplish in discipleship, we have missed the main point. Disciples must fulfill the Mandate to go and cause others to become disciples. Discipleship starts and ends with evangelism.

B.      Discipleship is not primarily an advanced course to help Christians know the Bible better
1.         Teaching in discipleship is not just teaching Bible knowledge, but teaching Bible obedience—teaching them to obey everything.
Discipleship is primarily concerned with Bible application, not Bible knowledge. It is possible to know much and do little. Unless our knowledge leads to obedience it is a knowledge that puffs up rather than builds up. (1 Corinthians 8:1; Colossians 2:18.)

C.          Discipleship is not primarily an accountability group to help Christians stay out of sin.
While moral accountability may be part of discipleship, it is not its primary purpose. Staying out of sin is the starting line, not the finish line, in the Christian life.

D.         Discipleship is not primarily about spiritual guidance, where all major decisions are submitted, discerned, and decide upon.
While discipleship provides a setting to help believers discern God’s will, guidance and decision-making is not the focus of New Testament discipleship. Humanity has a natural tendency to turn all activity inward. Biblical discipleship is designed to turn our lives outward - away from self.

POWER EVANGELISM

Acts 1:8
The NT Strategy is total miracle evangelism. This means the penetration of the entire world with the Gospel. It involves the believers of this generation confronting everyone in our world with the claims of Christ upon His life.

A.        Total Penetration
Early disciples began in Jerusalem sharing Christ with everyone. And they continued to spread the gospel into all Judea, and then Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth. Jesus' strategy is still total penetration of this world by the Church with His Gospel. Col 1:6

"that has come to  you.  In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God's grace"

B.         Total Participation
Jesus said that every believer was to be a witness of Him. Total penetration of our world with the Gospel demands total participation of the membership of the local church in witnessing.  The church should enlist every believer in the work of reaching their vicinity for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many Christians do not witness because they do not realize they need to witness. The believer must realize that witnessing for Jesus is not an option for a Christian. It is a command.  There are three things every minister must do to prepare every believer for miracle evangelism:
=          Enlighten the believers
=          Enlist the believer
=          Equip the believer

The Church today is to do the same as the Church Jesus left when He ascended. Mark 16:20
"Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and                   confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it"

C.         Total Power
Paul's method of evangelism was the preaching of the gospel with a demonstration of the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 Our efforts in evangelism must, like Paul's, include a demonstration of the Spirit and of power through miracle evangelism!

Jesus was constantly arising, departing, and going to new places. He sought to be around new people. He discussed His teaching with many types of people of varied backgrounds. Some people will not come to where you are. You have to go to their home, their town, and their environment. Once, Jesus told His disciples to go the upper room. They were to tarry there until they received the marvelous experience of the Holy spirit. He told  five hundred this. Three hundred eighty disobeyed Him. Even after they had observed His resurrection and Hisi miracle life, only one hundred twenty out of the  five hundred actually followed His instruction. But those who were willing to go to a different place the upper Room recieved the marvelous outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Territorial Enemy

MILITANT EVANGELISM

INTRODUCTION
Every believer who has a revelation of the authority he has in Jesus Christ will on the cutting edge of miracle evangelism. He will boldly bombard the gates of hell, setting people free from the control of Satan. The end-time army will overcome demons powers and gather the precious end-time harvest into the hands of God.

Floods of Demons
There will be floods of demons trying to block the way to this harvest, to overthrow God's plan to raise up a mature and glorious Church destined to win the nations with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Raising A Standard
Satan has his plans, but God has an Eternal plan.  Isaiah wrote that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will raise up a standard against him. We are to be that standard. Isaiah 59:19

Regional Spirits
There are: spirits over nations, spirits over regions, spirits over districts, spirits over families
The demon Prince of Persia is an example of this.  We are told that the ruling principality of Persia withstood the Angel of the Lord from bringing the answers to Daniel's prayer.  Later the Archangel Michael was sent to assist him in the battle. Daniel 10:13

"But the prince of the  Persian Kingdom resisted me 21 days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with king of persia"

Warfare In Evangelism
When we begin to evangelize we are coming against the strongholds of the devil.  We must operate in our God-given rights of binding and loosing so the captives can go free. We should expect to come into direct confrontation with principle rulers. It is important that we:
- Know about the strong man; Exercise our authority; Possess the occupied lands

Hindering Spirits
There are unseen spiritual forces in Satan's army whose primary job is to hinder the expansion of the gospel. Through lack of knowledge as intercessors, we often fail to directly attack the unseen forces of darkness. 1 Thessalonians 2:18

"For we wanted to come to you -----certainly I, paul did again and again, but satan                                                          blocked our way. "
Spiritual Blindness
Satan has blinded the hearts of the unbelievers from receiving the gospel. 2 Corinthians 4:4
We as believers must break this spiritual blindness by binding the demons which are ruling their lives. We must also loose the light of the gospel to shine on them.

Image result for 2 Corinthians 4:4

Binding Strong Man
Jesus taught us that we must first bind the strong man which are the principalities and powers which are ruling in territories, nations, regions, areas, families and individuals. Matthew 12:29, 18:18

Opening Blind Eyes
Intercessory prayer should be directed to the throne of God so the blindness of the hearts of men may be removed. We are to come against the spiritual darkness which blinds unbelievers. 2 Cor 4:3-6
We have the authority to strip the veil and let the light of the gospel shine.

Tearing Down Strongholds
God desires to build a praying army which uses intercessory prayer to pull down the strongholds of the devil.  He desires an army which will bind the demon spirits that hinder the harvest and loose the Holy Spirit to draw the lost to Christ. Isaiah 43:5-7

Spiritual Wrestling
Spiritual warfare often involves persistent wrestling in the spirit realm.  The answers to our needs and prayers are not always easily attained. These times are when we must endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul wrote Ephesians 6:12

David wrote words of encouragement for the times of wrestling. Psalms 9:11, 13

Travailing In Prayer
Just as it is sometimes necessary to wrestle against the forces of darkness, it is sometimes necessary to travail in prayer to gain the victory. The Holy Spirit helps us in intercessory prayer. Rom 8:26-27

Effective intercessors are bold in their prayers of faith which are based on an absolute confidence that we will win. Jesus has given us the keys of the kingdom and He expects us to violently take our cities and nations from the enemy by binding the strong man over the region. This is done only through intercessory prayer. Prayer is the language of war!

Prayer and Evangelism
When we pray for the harvest, we are to pray for the nations of the world and their leaders.  We are to pray for a peaceful environment for miracle evangelism. 1 Timothy 2:1-4

Ministering Angels
A mighty army of angels is available to enter into the warfare together with us. Notice that Jesus could pray to the Father and the Father would send the angels. Matthew 26:53

The angels want to be sent into warfare as ministering spirits on our behalf. Hebrews 1:14
As we speak the Word, angels respond to the spoken Word of God and move into action on our behalf. Psalms 103:20

Reaping The Harvest
Having won the war in the spirit world, over each territory, we must then move in with the gospel and through miracle evangelism reap a harvest of souls.

Mission in Action

Power Evangelism In Action
God is raising up a new breed of believers. They are bold to enter in and do the same works Jesus did. They are Power Evangelists.

             A.        Harvest Field
Jesus said the harvest was plentiful but the workers were few.  Our Father God is the Lord of the Harvest. He has sent workers into his harvest field. Matthew 9:37-38

            B.         Law of Sowing and Reaping
God's law of sowing and reaping is still in effect. The Church will reap what she sows in every area.  If we don't give up, we will see the harvest. Galatians 6:7-9

            C.         Supply and Increase
God has promised to supply both the seed for sowing and the bread for provisions.  Then He has promised to multiply and increase our fruit. 2 Corinthians 9:10

            D.        Miracle Evangelism
Miracles were an important part of Jesus instructions for evangelism in the Great Commission. Mark 16:15, 17-18, 20 We are to teach believers how to be effective in evangelism, how to "cast out demons," and how to "lay hands on the sick."

            E.         Jesus Our Example
Jesus began His ministry by personally teaching, preaching, healing, bringing deliverance and recovery, setting captives free, having compassion. Luke 4:18; Matthew 9:35, 36

            F.         Multiplication
The ministry of Jesus was limited to one village at a time.  Then Jesus began to multiply His ministry by commissioning the twelve disciples.  They were to do the same ministry and operate with the same love and compassion Jesus had. John 14:12

                          1.         Twelve Disciples
First the disciples were instructed to pray for the harvest.  Then they were commissioned - given power - and then they were sent out. Matthew 10:1, 5a, 8

2.         Seventy Disciples
After the twelve disciples had returned rejoicing, Jesus commissioned seventy disciples and sent them out. Luke 10:1, 9

3.         Every Believer
Just before Jesus left this earth, He commissioned all believers and sent them out.  The believers are to do the works of Jesus and greater works. Mark 16:15, 17-18 Jesus said when we proclaim the Gospel He would confirm His Word with miracles. We should expect them.

Jesus instructed us to do exactly the same works He did during the time of His ministry. To know God's pattern for effective evangelism, read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and see ourselves doing the same works as Jesus did.
The works of Jesus are not finished. Luke said the works of Jesus He recorded were only a record of the beginning works that Jesus "began to do and teach." Acts 1:1

            G.        Same Power
The same power of the Holy Spirit which came upon Jesus to equip Him for His earthly ministry is available to empower believers today. Acts 1:8 The power which comes through the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the power to be a witness for Jesus Christ. It is the power which is provided for every believer to be effective in miracle evangelism.

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Commissioning ----Matthew 28:19, 20;

Mark 16:15-18
Image result for Mark 16:15-18

Jesus gave us His last instructions before He left the earth. We refer to these words as the Great Commission.

The Great Commission is not a suggestion or request. It is a command from the King of kings! Jesus said we are to bring the total ministry of Jesus to the uttermost parts of the earth with signs and wonders following. The Great Commission is the primary mission of the local church. The key to world evangelism is to have a clear vision of our missions, goals and strategies.

The word translated "go" means, "as you are going." Every believer is "going" as they go about their daily lives.  Jesus' command to "go" was not limited to a select few who had a missionary calling. It is to everyone who is going anywhere: to work; to school; to do the shopping; wherever we are going as we carry out the normal functions of everyday life.

Jesus said, As you are going about the normal functions of life, you are to preach my gospel to every creature!  Evangelism is to become a life style - something we do all the time as we are going about the normal functions of life.

"Into All The World"
Jesus made it clear that the responsibility of the Church for evangelism was not limited to their own city. We as His Church are to "go into all the world and preach the gospel." Every believer might not be called to go to some foreign land, but every believer is to be actively involved in world evangelism. Some are to send by their giving, some are to go personally, and all are to pray.

2 Cor 10:16 The Church must press into the "regions beyond" to reach the unreached souls.  It must receive a renewed call for world evangelization.  The supreme task of the Church is the evangelization of the world.

"To Every Creature"
God's plan for global harvest and world evangelism has never changed.  We are still to go into the entire world and preach the gospel to every creature and God will confirm His Word with signs and wonders following. Every believer was to begin right where they live to actively reach their own cities with the gospel. However, they were not to stop there. They were to continue to reach out and take the gospel to others until everyone has heard of Jesus - to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

"Every Nation, Kindred, Tribe, People, Tongue"
We are not to be restricted to our own areas, but go beyond our regions to reach every nation, tribe, tongue, and creature. The real success of the Church is in the fulfillment of its mission.

"Make Disciples"
We are to make disciples so that the Great Commission can be fulfilled.  In God's plan, believers would multiply, and not just add to their numbers. 2 Timothy 2:2  When Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 that we are to make disciples of all nations, He revealed His plans for every believer to be trained and equipped to do His work through miracle evangelism.
